This privacy notice explains how Two Skint Bikers and Two Skint Studio use personal information across twoskintbikers.co.uk, twoskintstudio.co.uk, twoskintbikers.store, the Two Skint Studio beta programme and our online shop.
Who is responsible for your information?
Two Skint Bikers and Two Skint Studio are operated by Neil Blakeman in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

Information we collect
- Shop and order information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered, delivery choices, order history and messages about an order.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code.
- Accounts and comments: account details, login information, comments and associated technical information where those features are used.
- Two Skint Studio beta: name, email address, bike, phone platform, date of registration and any feedback you choose to give us.
- Contact forms and email: the contact details and message you send.
- Feature polls: your selected answer and any optional idea you submit. Our poll does not ask for your name or email address.
- Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, logs, cookie identifiers and information needed to keep the websites secure and working.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- Contract: to take payment, fulfil and deliver orders, provide customer accounts, handle returns and provide beta access you requested.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax, accounting and transaction records and to respond to lawful requests.
- Legitimate interests: to answer enquiries, prevent fraud, secure and troubleshoot the websites, understand demand, improve the shop and Studio app, and keep basic business records. We use only what is reasonably necessary and consider your rights.
- Consent: for Two Skint Studio beta-update emails, optional marketing and any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful use.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share information with
We share only what is needed with service providers involved in running the websites and shop, including website and email hosts, WooCommerce and WordPress services, payment providers such as WooPayments and Stripe, product and fulfilment partners such as Printful and Inkthreadable, delivery and package-protection services such as Route, and professional advisers or public authorities where the law requires it.
Product and delivery partners receive the customer and order details they need to make and deliver an order. Each provider may also act as an independent controller for parts of its service and will provide its own privacy information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use providers that rely on an applicable UK adequacy decision or appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards.
How long we keep information
- Order, payment and tax records are normally kept for up to six years, or longer if the law requires it.
- Beta registration details are kept while the beta programme is active and normally for no more than 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
- Contact enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months after the enquiry is closed.
- Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. We may keep a minimal suppression record so we remember not to contact you.
- Account information is kept while the account is active and then deleted or anonymised, except where it forms part of a transaction record we must retain.
- Security and technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
Our websites use strictly necessary cookies for functions such as the shopping basket, checkout, account login, security and remembering privacy choices. These cookies are needed for the service to work. If we use analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will provide information and ask for consent before setting them. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may stop the basket or checkout working properly.
Beta emails and marketing
If you join the Two Skint Studio beta, we use your email address to contact you about beta access, testing and relevant Studio updates. Joining the beta does not automatically sign you up for unrelated marketing. Every marketing email will provide a simple way to opt out. You can also email us at any time.
Children
The shop and beta programme are not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian before joining the beta or placing an order.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to its use, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You also have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.
